A first-of-it's-kind event for Kova Enterprises. The response was overwhelming for our Bikerator units which were running both Direct 12V and 120V 'household' applications through our Integrator unit. The additional power created was being fed back in to the 'local grid', helping to power the festival. 09-17-10Park(ing) Day Pittsburgh South Side, Pittsburgh, PA Follow link to OTB website and check out the pictures! www.otbbicyclecafe.com/ Kova Enterprises collaborated with Over The Bar (OTB) Bicycle Cafe to participate in National Park(ing) Day by transforming the ordinary parking spaces in front of their cafe at 2518 East Carson Street into a Reduced, Reused, and Recycled Bicycle Friendly Pedestrian Park. The park was interactive and fun, featuring creative installations such as bike racks made from recycled bike parts and interactive Bikerators (bicycle powered generators) from Kova Enterprises. The Bikerator and accompanying Integrator Jr. power storage device were a crowd favorite. So much so that OTB Bicycle Cafe purchased a Bikerator / Integrator combination for permanent use in the bar! OTB Bicycle Cafe is an outdoor themed and community minded restaurant located on East Carson Street near the 26th Street trailhead to the Great Allegheny Passage. The primary goal of National Park(ing) Days across the U.S. is to promote the need for more parks in America's urban spaces. The event, sponsored by The Trust for Public Land (TPL) in partnership with REBAR, encourages city dwellers all over the country to create temporary public parks out of a single parking space. 09-25-10 and 09-26-10Mother Earth News Fair Seven Springs, PA The first of its kind. Mother Earth News sponsored their first ever Fair at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in South Western Pennsylvania. Hundreds of exhibitors and demonstrations and an estimated crowd of 10,000 particapated Kova Enterprises was invited as a "special partner" to the event for our Bikerator and Integrator devices. We displayed several bicycles set up to run a variety of appliances and light sources through the Integrator and Integrator Jr. along with a micro wind turbine and solar panels. Festival goers had the chance to participate in a complete, mobile setup converting Sun, Wind and Human Power into clean, renewable energy! We came away with even more requests for our self contained power generation and storage devices including powering remote out-buildings, fresh water wells, incubators and a host of emergency back-up power applications. 01-01-2011Integrator, Integrator Jr., and Bikerator officially enter the market in finished retail packaging.
